With a series of measures from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) to accelerate investments and encourage businesses to adopt digital technology, the 2021 year is a year of economic recovery for various industries in Thailand.
According to Ms Duangjai Asawachintachit, Secretary General of the BOI, there are many economic packages to promote large scale project and boost up investment this year to promote increased efficiency and productivity, and ensure companies are ready to seize the business opportunities arising from the upcoming economic recovery.
The packages are including a 3-years income tax exemption, special tax incentive package, and tax reduction. The Thailand Board of Investment expects to see faster adoption of digital technologies through these series of stimulus package.
